What Data We Collect
- Account details (name, email, billing info)
- Payment info (processed by Mollie — we never store card details)
- Server logs (IP addresses, access logs, error logs)
- Encrypted backups of customer data
- Email traffic (sent through our built-in mail service, Mailjet, or Postmark)
What about Cookies?
We generally don’t use cookies. The only exceptions are functional cookies that are being set when you add products to your shopping cart – it’s required to remember your selections during the checkout process.
Why We Process Data
- To provide and bill our hosting services
- To send system updates and important notifications
- To ensure security and prevent abuse
- To create backups and restore services when needed
Who We Share Data With (Sub-Processors)
- Hetzner (Germany) – hosting infrastructure
- Netcup (Germany/Austria/Netherlands) – hosting infrastructure
- Mailjet / Postmark (France / US) – email delivery
- Postmark involves data transfers to the US, protected by Standard Contractual Clauses
- Mollie (Netherlands) – payment processing
Data Retention
- Account and billing data: kept as long as you’re a customer, plus the legal retention period
- Logs: up to 10 MB of active logs are kept, plus 5 rotated logs. Logs older than 14 days are deleted
- Domains: data retained according to registry rules
- Backups: kept for recovery purposes, then securely deleted
